St. Paul 11-14-year-old students have computer access on a daily basis and younger students are on a weekly schedule.
We have added Google Apps for Education this year and are working to create personal learning environments for students in 5th-8th grades using Google Sites and Google Reader (RSS feeds). We try to blog on a weekly
basis and have a Moodle online classroom for collaborative work. Creating QR codes for smart phones is an activity we are very interested to implement this year.
We participated in GVC Clubhouse and Contest in 2010-11.
I love to travel and enjoy cooking and gardening as hobbies.
I have been a technology instructor for 10 years and have an Information Science and Learning Technologies M.Ed. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
I begin my doctoral studies in the spring of 2012.
